Why upside down is the right direction from time to time

It is a common saying that it is important to "have both feet on the ground" and "to be grounded".
I wholeheartedly agree with this wisdom, but by the same token, I think it’s equally important to have both feet up in the air from time to time.
Everybody who practices yoga with me - from beginners to advanced practitioners - know that I place a big focus on inversions and āsanas where you position parts of your body or your entire body upside down.
Why?
Because there are many benefits, and one key benefit in particular that deserves special attention.
