Born in Germany in 1987, Laura Posdziech lived in Berlin, Amsterdam, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Mönchengladbach before deciding to make the green, rolling hills of Umbria, Italy her home. In 2022 she moved to Montone (Perugia).
JOURNEY
Laura has been practicing Yoga for 18 years and teaching for 6 years. She started with Bikram Yoga and continued with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga before in 2019 meeting Simon Borg-Olivier, who has been her yoga teacher under whose tutelage she attained the 500-hour Yoga teacher training certificate and ever since. Simon Borg-Olivier is a disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar and, as a practicing physiotherapist, deepens traditional yoga with modern-day scientific findings and his tremendous knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Laura has gained a new appreciation of the body, physiology, its reliance on physical movement and the key function of circulation.
Circulation is the movement of blood through the vessels of the body. It’s an inner alchemic process eliminating the various waste products from oxygen-poor blood while enriching it and turning it into oxygenated blood. In its essence, it is a process of detoxification and purification.
PHILOSOPHY
Laura’s quest is to bring Yoga back towards a practice that aligns and moves along with nature - because it is only the principles of nature that can return us to a natural state of circulation.
In 2025, she obtained further training to become a Kneipp mentor. Today she targets circulation using Yoga as an active approach and Kneipp-based remedies as an efficient passive method of stimulating circulation.
