How should we define natural movement?
Here is an attempt:
Natural movements are elegant and present. They radiate confidence and poise. They have a graceful appearance. They seem to be weightless, unencumbered, yet palpable and undeniable. They strike one as if the mass of trees branches dancing in the wind doesn't care, as if the deer running and jumping across a field is as light as a feather.
Natural movement is movement with ease.
What about us, human beings? I picture dancers becoming one with their movements. Dancers moving as if there were no constraints on their bodies. But what dictates the rhythm and the choreography of the dance?
Is there a natural rhythm and natural choreography that is innate to us all?
